(WKBN) – Efforts to close Trumbull Regional Medical Center and Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital have been paused as Steward Health Care reached a settlement agreement with its landlord, Medical Properties Trust.
Youngstown police say a male employee of the repair shop on South Avenue was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.
The money comes from the Department of Justice's COPS Hiring Program in which 13 communities will receive a portion of the funds.
$3.1 million in grant funding will help with phase one of the project. This includes design, engineering and environmental assessment. Construction will occur in phase two.
