A judge ordered the man accused of shooting at law enforcement in Omaha to be held on a $1 million bond.The Nebraska State Patrol said they were serving a warrant for Jason Davenport in May when he opened fire.Watch: Dash camera footage from Nebraska State Patrol shows wanted man shooting at officersDavenport and Dana Banks drove off, leading to an hours-long manhunt.Law enforcement found the two in the town of Kennard, where they hid in a semitrailer cab. Investigators said Davenport still had a firearm and displayed it toward officers, prompting them to fire.After shots were fired, Banks exited and surrendered. She was taken to the University of Nebraska Medical Center with a gunshot wound, which was non-life-threatening.Authorities then gained access to the cab, a K9 was deployed, and Davenport was taken into custody.He was also injured, taken to the hospital and released on June 19.On Friday, Davenport was charged with first-degree attempted assault, possession of a weapon by a prohibited person, use of a weapon and flight to avoid arrest.His preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 30.Prosecutors previously charged Banks with accessory to a felony. A judge denied her bond.
