KOOSKIA — Clearwater Valley High School senior Tiago Pickering, son of Darren and Norka Pickering, has been playing football throughout all four years of high school.

Individual runners, Evelyn Ward with Clearwater Valley High School and Kelsee Hunt and Finn O'Donnell with Kamiah High School, have qualified for state.

Volleyball teams from Grangeville and Prairie high schools and St. John Bosco Academy competed in their respective league state tournaments Oct. 31 - Nov. 2.

GRANGEVILLE — Beau Bruzas, son of Peter Bruzas and Aminta Nelson has been playing football since eighth grade and plays a right guard and defensive end.

KAMIAH — Kelsee Hunt, daughter to Jessie and Kellie Hunt, has been doing cross-country all through high school and said her favorite aspect of doing cross-country is her teammates.

GRANGEVILLE — Grangeville High School’s Bulldog football team competed in the state quarterfinal with a home game against Firth, which the Bulldogs lost 15-14.

KAMIAH — Kamiah High School’s Kub football team played against Kendrick Nov. 8 at the University of Idaho Kibbie Dome in Moscow, losing 58-14, and so ending their state championship

GRANGEVILLE — Grangeville High School senior Troy Benefield Jr., son of Heather and Troy Benefield Sr., plays left guard and middle linebacker on the Bulldogs football team.
