HANCOCK COUNTY — The red Santa Claus pants Kelly Teater was wearing were a little too big, but the holiday spirit was just right. A group of people who originally created a program called “Santa’s Closet Toy Drive,” were hard at work in early December separating toys and putting the gifts into bags so parents could come and pick up the presents for children just in time for Christmas.

NEW PALESTINE — The screaming, cheers, music and laughter were so loud that the sounds could be heard pouring out of the air vents outside of New Palestine Junior High School (NPJHS). That’s where students and staff held their annual “Spirit Day” competition prior to winter break Friday.
