MICHIGAN CITY — Indiana officials are preparing for the Wednesday morning execution of Joseph Corcoran, 49, the first person executed by the state in approximately 15 years.

When asked if he had any last words, Joseph Corcoran replied, "Not really. Let’s get this over with," according to the Indiana Department of Correction.

Raju Rawal was sentenced Wednesday for murdering Haley Losinski inside her home in 2023. Despite evidence against him, he maintains that he did not kill her.
