This year, the church is partnering with Children’s House Montessori School to bring Trunk or Treat to the community 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25. There will be lots of decorated trunks and candy, free hot dogs and drinks, spooky games with prizes, picture opportunities and more at 509 E. Pennsylvania Ave. in DeLand.

WINNERS ALL AROUND — The singing group Three and a Half Men show the trophies they received as the 2024 Barbershop Harmony Society International Quartet champions and 2023 Sunshine District champions. From left are Joseph De Rosa, Josh Szolomayer, Chris Keough and Tony De Rosa. The group will perform at 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, during the Emmaus Concert Series hosted by Emmaus Lutheran Church in Orange City. From Central Florida, the group brings a variety of musical styles to the scene. With backgrounds in barbershop, doo-wop, vocal jazz and gospel music, the quartet enjoys a diverse repertoire and delivery.

The public is invited to a special night of worship. At 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, at Church of the Holy Presence in DeLand will host a “Taize Night of Worship.”
