High pressure builds Wednesday bringing sunnier skies, lighter winds, and warmer temperatures. Highs will be in the low 50s by the lakefront and in the upper 50s inland.

Mostly sunny skies continue early Thursday with high temperatures in the upper 50s by the lake and in the upper 60s inland.

Foggy skies, especially near Lake Michigan, will continue from Sunday night into Monday morning. Visibility will be less than a mile at times.

High pressure builds in today and will bring us mostly sunny skies (after some patchy dense fog) through Thursday.

High pressure continues to bring sunny skies Wednesday. We'll keep it cooler by the lake with highs in the upper 60s, while inland temperatures climb into the mid to upper 70s.

Mostly sunny skies continue Thursday with even warmer temperatures than the last few days. Highs climb to near 70° by the lakefront and near 80° inland.

An Air Quality Alert remains in effect through Saturday wildfire smoke lingers in southeast Michigan. Occasional storms will be possible throughout the weekend as well.

A solar eclipse is Saturday will travel across North America, Central America and South America. Southeast Michigan will can expect a partial eclipse.

Cooler air has moved into southeast Michigan and will likely be sticking around for the first half of the month.

After a sunny and warmer Monday, temperatures continue to climb Tuesday. Highs will be in the mid 60s Tuesday afternoon with a few more clouds moving back in to Metro Detroit.
