WESTFORD — The Swampscott girls tennis team reached the end of its journey, suffering a 3-2 defeat to No. 2 Dover-Sherborn in the Final 4 on Wednesday afternoon.

MARBLEHEAD — For the majority of schools, their track seasons are over, but not Marblehead High. Four standout distance runners will fly to Eugene, Oregon to compete in next week's Nike Nationals.

LYNN — The Lynn Tech boys and girls track and field teams delivered outstanding seasons, led by boys coach John Hogan and girls coach James Runner, who were both named Commonwealth Athletic Conference (CAC) Coaches of the Year.

The Lynnfield 13-year-old Little League team captured the 2026 Middlesex Big Diamond-Intermediate Division championship Sunday night with an 8-0 win over Swampscott. The title capped a season of growth and development for a team that emphasized participation, sportsmanship and fun throughout the spring.

SWAMPSCOTT — It was a strong junior season for Swampscott's Doyle Delano, from making plays at Blocksidge Field on the gridiron to competing this spring on the track and field team. The rising senior has caught the eye of several college programs that are keeping tabs on Delano in hopes of landing his signature at the next level for football.

LYNN — Lynn Tech's Colin McGough has found his next home as he recently committed to study and play football at Framingham State University. McGough, a multi-sport athlete, has wrapped up stellar football and track and field seasons.

SWAMPSCOTT — Swampscott's girls tennis team enjoyed one of its most successful seasons in program history, posting a 21-1 record with its only loss coming in the Div. 3 semifinals. Under the direction of first-year coach Emily Cilley, Swampscott was the top team in the Northeastern Conference and earned the No. 6 seed in the state tournament.

LYNN — More history was made on Tremont Street this past spring as the St. Mary's girls lacrosse team had its best season in program history, finishing the year with a 16-3 record and reaching the Round of 8 in Division 3.

Mark Aboyoun MARBLEHEAD — It was a strong spring season for the Magicians, with every team qualifying for the postseason.
