If there’s one thing people tend to associate with me, it’s my love for a good turn-based tactics game. Like many, my gateway was Final Fantasy Tactics on the PlayStation back in 1998, and I’ve been hooked on TRPGs and turn-based strategy games ever since. That obsession has, over time, earned me a bit of a reputation; I’ve been fortunate to be a go-to person for checking out new entries in the genre and occasionally gotten the chance to review some of the best it has to offer. So when indie developer Ichigoichie reached out and asked me to preview their upcoming TRPG Tactichord: Glam Strategy, it was an easy yes. After all, if there’s anything I love as much as tactics games, it’s heavy metal.
