More than 31,000 early voters and counting have showed up so far and the office has mailed out around 60,000 mail-in ballots in Summit County.

Voters told 3News everything from the presidential race to Ohio Issue 1 to the Senate race to local issues was driving them to the vote early.

According to data from AdImpact, ad spending surpassed $400 million this month, making Ohio's Senate battle the most expensive in the country so far.

Voters didn't notice a difference at the polls, but the DOJ said it would deploy staff to the county during voting after voters raised concerns about 'intimidation.'

The group behind the proposed constitutional amendment argues the state-approved ballot language is misleading. 3News has also received emails from confused voters.

Nearly 63,000 residents voted early in Cuyahoga County, breaking the previous records in 2020 and 2008. But the bulk of the voters will head to the polls on Tuesday.
