Evan, a 2023 Sandpoint High graduate, was recently named to the 2024 United Soccer Coaches Junior College Division II Men’s All-America Team and All-West Region Team. A defender, Evan led the Warriors, which were 15-3-4 and ranked No. 5 in the country by the United Soccer Coaches National Poll to close out the year, to the second lowest goals allowed average, limiting opposing offenses to just 11 goals in 22 games.

A 2020 graduate of Sandpoint High, Brandon was recently named to the Stats Perform FCS All-American Second Team and earned an AP All-American Honorable Mention. He is now a two-time First Team All-Big Sky selection and a three-time Academic All-Big Sky honors recipient. According to the Montana Sports Information Department, he’s helped pave the way for 2,741 rushing yards this season — the most the Griz have rushed for in the past four years — and has helped to move the chains 305 times to date in 2024.

SHELLEY — At Shelley High, senior Demi Driggs and sophomore Brecken Mire tied for a team-high 12 points as the Lady Bulldogs were bested by the 4A (now 5A) defending state champion Lady Russets on Thursday during the first round of the East Idaho Holiday Shootout.
