Last season, these two teams faced off during the playoffs, and the Atascocita Eagles came out victorious with a score of 34-14.

The North Shore Mustangs vs. the South Oak Cliff Bears is a battle between Houston and Dallas. Last season, both teams made it to the state championship finals in each of their divisions: South Oak Cliff lost to the Port-Neches Grove Indians 20-16, and North Shore lost to the Duncanville Panthers 49-33. Blaylock, in a career-best performance, scored four more touchdowns, including two from over 50 yards, giving the Eagles a commanding 40-7 lead at halftime. Quarterback Cardae Mack added to the scoring with a 24-yard touchdown pass.
