Wayne Selfridge -- recognized for National Volunteer of the Year and Volunteer of the Year in Region 5 -- has been with the Refuge since the early 2000s. He says the awards were an honor, but the biggest honor is what he can do for the animals that inhabit the refuge.

CARIBOU, Maine (WAGM) - Most people don't associate a trip to the hospital with a walk through the woods but at Cary Medical Center and Pines Health Services their recreational trails have been a staple there for the last three years.
