The good news for race organizers is that last year was such a boondoggle, round two of the Las Vegas Grand Prix in November is bound to look like a massive improvement by comparison.

For pundits, campaigns and strategists, this year’s relentlessly abnormal political environment is making Nevada an even harder state to really understand — as if it wasn’t already difficult enough ... Nevada has long flummoxed pollsters and professional political consultants.

Nonetheless, even while discounting the howls of online trolls and purveyors of election fraud myths, there’s something inherently wrong about an election process that takes days on end to announce official results.

We may have to confront the possibility that our two-party system is doing an abhorrent job of representing most people’s political views.

It seems entirely possible the “psychedelic renaissance” is going to have a productive year in 2025.
