MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--This time of year, you take whatever Mother Nature gives you. For the next week, don't expect a lot of sunshine if any. But temperatures will be on the rise. In fact, highs will be near 50 by Saturday. Any snow will be gone by the weekend as well due to mild weather and the showers expected at the end of the week as well. The showers will linger through the weekend as well. Meantime, the forecast for Christmas and start of Hanukkah should be fairly quiet but just a lot of clouds and perhaps a bit of drizzle and fog from time to time.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--We were beyond spoiled for the last week of 2024 with several days in the 50s for highs. That's over. Wednesday will probably be the last time we hit freezing for at least the next week. Otherwise, expect a lot of highs in the 20s with lows in the teens (and some single digits depending where you live.) As far as weather systems go, I don't see anything major at least through the weekend. There's still a chance of light snow on Monday, but computer models are still wrangling over this particular system. So stay tuned!

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--Get used to temps in the 20s for highs and lows in the single digits and teens for at least the next week. Any wind will bring the numbers below zero with the wind chill temperatures. A major winter storm will be just to our south for Sunday and Monday although we could get a bit of lake effect snow later Sunday into early Monday. It shouldn't be very impactful though with maybe a slight accumulation. We have another chance of snow showers on Friday as well. But it looks fairly quiet for the entire week. Just chilly.

MILWAUKEE (CSB 58)--Whether you want to learn how to meditate the right way or just play with some LEGOs, you have a lot to choose from this first weekend of January.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--We have a window of opportunity to see some lake effect snow, especially for the lakeside counties. It'll be late Sunday night into Monday afternoon. The potential is there to see at least three inches. There's also a bit of concern we could see some blowing snow with northerly winds gusting to 30 mph on Monday. Places away from the lake will experience a sharp cutoff when it comes to snowfall amounts. So if you're doing any traveling along and east of the I-94 corridor Monday morning, plan on a little extra time for travel.
