Temperatures continue to cool down on Friday and with a strong Canadian cold front dropping in from the North Saturday temperatures will begin to trend cooler than normal this weekend.

A SW flow aloft will develop Wednesday and again push temperatures into the 50s and 60s but there will be some moisture riding along the SW flow.

Rain and snow will be increasing locally tonight through Thursday morning as a very healthy plume of moisture is wrapping around an area of Low-pressure

The National Weather Service has WINTER STORM WATCH up for most of SW Montana Wednesday evening through Thursday evening.

Another weak disturbance will arrive on Monday producing a few showers and holding temperatures near normal.

Temperatures are well below normal for this time of year and there could be a few frosty mornings ahead, Wednesday into Thursday.

Ironically, the weather pattern is shifting to a warm to hot and dry pattern as we welcome the summer solstice.
