Rev. Stanislaw “Father Stan” Fiuk (right), pastor of St. James Catholic Church in Seguin, is among the visitors July 13 to the South Texas Pregnancy Care Center in Seguin, during an open house. Father Stan is the former pastor of St. Ann Catholic Church in La Vernia. The new center at 1348 E. Kingsbury St. was recently completed; it offers more space and resources than its prior Seguin location. Services include pregnancy and sexually transmitted disease testing, counseling, ultrasounds, parenting education, community outreach, and more. The nonprofit center also includes a Baby Boutique where expectant parents can shop for baby and parent needs, including clothing, diapers, and more. Donations are welcome.
