SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Thursday, June 6, 2024, marks 80 years since the Allied invasion on the Beach of Normandy — more commonly known as D-Day.

June gloom is sticking around this weekend. Saturday morning starts out cloudy with patch fog and drizzle along the coast and inland communities. A low pressure system is bringing mostly cloudy and cool weather to the coastal areas this week. Clouds will clear in most valleys each afternoon.

Brides For A Cause, a new charity bridal boutique in North Park, offers designer wedding dresses at discounted prices, with proceeds benefiting local communities and women's charities.

It’s less than a week from the start of Summer and temperatures are heating up in San Diego County. Coastal communities will start the weekend with some clouds and patchy fog before clearing out by the afternoon hours.

Increased temperatures will be pushing into San Diego County for the first weekend of summer. High pressure building over the Southwest will bring hot weather to the valleys, mountains and deserts.

San Diego (KGTV) — The day after a busy holiday, San Diego beaches are often littered with tons of trash. Early Friday morning, volunteers were out in force to help clear the mess.

Another day of hot weather following record-breaking temperatures on Friday. Saturday morning consisted of low clouds and fog for areas along the coast and some inland communities. The marine layer will shift out bringing in the sunshine early this afternoon.
