Red Line Oil PDRA Drag Racing Series officials and FloRacing announced today that Friday qualifying at the upcoming PDRA Mid-Atlantic Showdown presented by Classic Graphix will stream for free on the FloRacing 24/7 channel. The Mid-Atlantic Showdown, May 21-23, at Virginia Motorsports Park, is the third of seven races on the 2026 PDRA schedule and will include the series' complete lineup of professional, sportsman, and Jr. Dragster classes. Fans can catch Friday qualifying on FloRacing 24/7 through Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, Fubo, and other free video platforms. Saturday eliminations will also be available for FloRacing subscribers.

Now two races into the seven-race 2026 Red Line Oil PDRA Drag Racing Series season, serious contenders are emerging as the series returns to Virginia Motorsports Park this weekend for the Mid-Atlantic Showdown presented by Classic Graphix, May 21-23. It's still early in the world championship battles, but racers across the PDRA's professional, sportsman, and Jr. Dragster categories are fighting for all the points they can get to contend for a season title. VMP, located in the history-rich area just outside Richmond, is the next battlefield in that fight.
Due to persistent rain and mist, as well as more inclement weather in the forecast, Red Line Oil PDRA Drag Racing Series officials have cancelled the PDRA Mid-Atlantic Showdown presented by Classic Graphix, May 21-23, at Virginia Motorsports Park. The event will not be rescheduled. The Mid-Atlantic Showdown was the third of seven races on the 2026 PDRA schedule.

The Red Line Oil PDRA Drag Racing Series announced today that the series will host its first PDRA Sportsman Spectacular as a part of the upcoming PDRA Thunder Valley Throwdown presented by Larry Jeffers Race Cars at Bristol Dragway on August 7-9. The Sportsman Spectacular will offer increased payouts for all of the PDRA's sportsman and Jr. Dragster categories competing in the fifth of seven 2026 PDRA national events.

When 2025 Drag Illustrated 30 Under 30 honoree Austin Kardules ' name was drawn in the Lincoln Electric drawing during last year's DI 30 Under 30 press conference at the PRI Show, Kardules couldn't believe his luck. He'd grown up around talented fabricators and had recently started to explore learning how to weld. The Lincoln Electric prize package – which included a Lincoln Power MIG 220 welder, a Lincoln Welding Gear Ready-Pak, and a five-day course at Lincoln's Welding School near Cleveland, Ohio, was exactly what Kardules needed to kick-start his education.

Former NHRA sportsman racer J.C. Beattie Jr.'s venture into Pro 632 presented by Mark Williams Enterprises in the Red Line Oil PDRA Drag Racing Series is finally showing the rewards for the team's hard work over the last few seasons. Beattie recently switched to a new nitrous-fed powerplant under the hood scoop in his ATI Performance Products '18 Camaro, and when you combine that with Beattie's driving and Dave Hanlon's tuning, you end up with a dominant start to the 2026 season.
