Sean McDermott gave fans some good news about Josh Allen. Allen injured his left hand when he vaulted into the end zone for a score on Sunday. McDermott said, “Josh injured his hand in the game and he’s been cleared to practice and cleared to play.”

The Buffalo Sabres Prospects had their first practice getting ready for the Prospects Challenge this weekend. Rochester’s new head coach Mike Leone and his staff put the players through their paces and he said the players know their objectives.

The Buffalo Sabres will be a better team because they did a terrific job of bringing in players that will be harder to play against. What they didn’t do was bring in a top-six forward. A candidate would be 2022 first-round pick Jiri Kulich

The Buffalo Sabres open the Prospects Challenge on Friday against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Rochester head coach Mike Leone will be behind the bench for the Sabres and he announced that 2023 fifth-round pick Scott Ratzlaff will start in goal.

Peyton Krebs got a qualifying offer, but didn’t sign it. Adams said, “I’d like to give it a few more days before I address it, but these things take time sometimes and it’s a process but, we’ll see where we are in 48 hours.”
