The Buffalo Sabres are on a 5-2-0 run which has them ninth in the East, two points behind the Boston Bruins who are in the eighth and final playoff spot. If the Sabres beat the Anaheim Ducks on Friday, they will be back into that eighth playoff spot.

I don’t think this win would’ve been possible had Reimer not made the save of the year on the first overall pick in this past June, Macklin Cellebrini. Had this goal gone in, it would’ve been 3-1 Sharks and I don’t know if they could’ve comeback.
