Those beautiful yards which are shown in magazines make me wistful, though it appears the landscaping is in towns and cities. The featured photos are also captured in areas where it rains frequently like Maine, parts of California or even England. I’d like to dare Good Housekeeping or a similar publication to capture such a glorious yard out where it seldom rains and the wind often blows. We do what we can to make our landscapes appealing yet it would be quite a stretch to say they are lush. We know our limitations.
