Precise control and utilizing the phase degree of freedom of spin waves is particularly crucial in developing unparalleled magnonic devices for unconventional computing. By exploring phases of coherent spin waves, we have achieved their constructive (destructive) interference, resulting in complete transmission (suppression) of spin-wave propagation in a wide frequency range. Furthermore, by applying a dc-gating current, we effectively switch types of the interference from constructive to destructive or vice versa at the same frequency, enabling the configurable realization of both xor and or logic functions in the same device. Our coherent spin-wave transistor gateable by a dc current represents a substantial step forward to the spin-wave logic devices or circuits for magnonic computing.

The synthesis of S r ⁢ B 3⁢ C 3and the research on its analogs demonstrate the high-temperature superconductivity of ternary metal-boron-carbon clathrates at ambient or moderate pressure. Here, we explore the stability and superconductivity of calcium-doped and boron-substituted type-VIII carbon clathrates C ⁢ a 4⁢ B x⁢ C 2 3 − x ( x = 0 − 2 3) at 25–100 GPa. Based on the structural features and density functional theory (DFT) calculations, we screened 8 388 608 possible B-decorated structures and ultimately identified five thermodynamically metastable superconductors. Among them, (space group ) exhibited the highest of K, between 25 and 100 GPa. The high of originates from strong electron-phonon coupling caused by phonon softening and high density of states at the Fermi level. Our findings suggest that metal-doped and boron-substituted carbon clathrates are promising high-temperature superconductors at moderate pressure.

Ovarian cancer is the leading cause of death among all gynecological malignancies, and drug resistance renders the current chemotherapy agents ineffective for patients with advanced metastatic tumors. We report an effective treatment strategy for targeting metastatic ovarian cancer involving a nanoformulation (Bola/IM) bola-amphiphilic dendrimer (Bola)-encapsulated imatinib (IM) to target the critical mediator of ovarian cancer stem cells (CSCs) CD117 (c-Kit). Bola/IM offered significantly more effective targeting of CSCs compared to IM alone, through a novel and tumor-specific β-catenin/HRP2 axis, allowing potent inhibition of cancer cell survival, stemness, and metastasis in metastatic and drug-resistant ovarian cancer cells. Promising results were also obtained in clinically relevant patient-derived ascites and organoids alongside high tumor-oriented accumulation and favorable pharmacokinetic properties in mouse models. Furthermore, Bola/IM displayed synergistic anticancer activity when combined with the first-line chemotherapeutic drug cisplatin in patient-derived xenograft mouse models without any adverse effects. Our findings support the use of Bola/IM as a nanoformulation to empower IM, providing targeted and potent treatment of metastatic ovarian cancer. Our study thus represents a significant advancement toward addressing the unmet medical need for improved therapies targeting this challenging disease.
