I've been around long enough to remember the first generation, and well, it's been a while. Designed to handle the growing demands of modern high-end processors, these new entries focus on improving airflow efficiency and ease of use while maintaining the signature matte black aesthetic and quiet acoustics the brand is well known for.

The be quiet! Pure Base 501 DX has been with us for a little while now, but it's one of those that slipped through our fingers at launch. Given it's popularity as an affordable and feature packed PC gaming case, we just had to find out what all the fuss was about. Designed to balance compact dimensions with high-performance airflow, robust hardware support, and superb aesthetics thanks to its tempered glass, high-airflow, and ARGB lighting, it's ticking all the right boxes for a gaming case in 2026. As part of be quiet!'s line of silent and efficient cases, you would think it would be more expensive, but with prices around £99 and many stores now selling it for as low as £60, it's a very appealing option for system builders wanting something premium, and wanting to keep more cash in their wallet.

When it comes to high-end gaming PC cases, NZXT has been top of their game for well over a decade. They've created many of the most popular and coolest PC cases in that time, although I love their modern cases, I do miss the old days of the Phantom series. However, this new H6 looks set to grab our attention too, with its enthusiast focused design, impressive hardware support, and pristine aesthetics.

UGREEN are fast becoming one of my favourite brands, but weirdly, not by any active persuit of the brand, but by their sheer dominance of high quality tech products that just happen to often be the best value on Amazon. Anytime I need a dongle, a wireless charger, a USB cable, a USB hub or similar peripheral device, they seem to have what I need and at a quality that punches well above the no-name import brands, but for a very similar price. With our mobile demands being higher than ever, especially when we're at trade shows and using our phones for content while at Computex and similar events, we need power, and lots of it. With the UGREEN MagFlow Air Ultra-Slim Power Banks looking like they'll meet not only our demands, but the demands of anyone who's hooked to their mobile devices night and day, we had to check them out.

Gigabyte has been in the PC market for as long as I can remember, actually, might be even longer than that. With their range of high-end graphics cards, motherboards, and other gaming components winning awards from us here at eTeknix and many others. They've been dabbling with CPU coolers for a long time, but it's never really been a big focus for them. However, the release of their new Gaming 240 ICE AIO Liquid Cooler is welcome addition to their range, offering competitive cooling, rated for up to 300W TDP, stylish aesthetics that'll pair up great with their latest range of gaming hardware, and best of all, a very competitive price, which is sure to be the one that grabs most of your attention.

Ever since graphics cards transitioned to the 12VHPWR AKA the 12V-2×6 power connector, PC enthusiasts have been understandably paranoid, as there are regular stories of the connectors melting and subsequently killing graphics cards. We have seen power supply manufacturers color-code their connectors to guarantee they are fully plugged in, and cooling specialists release dedicated monitoring tools, such as those from Thermal Grizzly , just to keep track of voltage and temperatures at the plug, and power supply brands are now providing layers of protection to the cable via digital monitoring. However, a recent catastrophic hardware failure reminds us that power cables are not the only danger, sometimes, the cards just go boom. Sorry, hope you weren't planning on getting any sleep tonight.

Endorfy are one of my favourite PC peripheral brands, having a range of keyboards, mice, and audio gear that continues to impress, and I've even used a few of their products at home over the last few years, which is saying something, given that I've usually got a wider choice of products than your typical consumer.
