LIMA — For its 175th anniversary, the Allen County Fair started a new event known as “Sunday Celebration.” The grandstands hosted several free family fun events, including a concert by Micky Dolenz.

UNIOPOLIS — In honor of the 250th year of the United States’ independence, the Uniopolis Historical Society remembered a veteran of the Revolutionary War, John Ridley, in an event Sunday afternoon.

LIMA — Motorcycles will fling the dirt into the air again this weekend as they tear around the track for the Lima Half-Mile at the Allen County Fairgrounds. Competitors will travel from all over the country for the Progressive American Flat Track series to provide an experience fans will never forget Friday and Saturday.
