Early on, I wrote a unique article on Sundays, aptly named The Sunday Spotlight, about someone who had a significant positive impact on our lives. In January 2023, I wrote about Pete Hegseth and his deep faith and concern for all children. In addition to his weekend duties at FOX as co-host of Fox & Friends, Pete has produced a series on the state of our education system and a couple of special features on Christ in his homeland.

We already know that Trump is fearless, and we have seen him traverse the last eight years, some might say eight years from hell, but America has given the keys to the country and asked him to lead us back to the fast lane. Trump has been impeached, arrested, mug shot, shot, and survived another campaign and election to bring us to the White House today. Donald Trump and Joe Biden met on Wednesday morning in the Oval Office, and both had poignant comments as they began their transition meeting. Biden shook the President-Elect's hand and said, “Welcome back.” Trump responded, “Politics is a tough game, but today, politics is beautiful.” One President is about to leave office with a tattered legacy, and the other is returning with the energy and a plan to fortify his. This meeting is between a lifelong politician who has had his politics rejected by the American people and a billionaire businessman who has learned to survive politics and is armed with a mandate from the people to repair our country.

First, why does anyone on the Right give time to The View, a pathetic radical Left show that would make Barbara Walters, the originator of the show, spin in her grave? The current show is a talk show hosted by five angry women who feel their calling is to mock the Right. Ironically, The View blames uneducated white women who did not vote for Kamala Harris for why Trump won. The irony is that this block of people is The View's audience. The View is having a field day criticizing all of Donald Trump's appointments to his administration. Who are these people to dissect the qualifications of any presidential appointment?

If you cannot beat Trump, then go after his appointments and nominees. Trump won the Electoral College, the Popular Vote, and both wings of Congress, but that is not enough for the opposition to gracefully accept the people Trump wants on his staff. There is virtually no person Trump has named for a post that the Left has not ginned up some fictitious allegation of unscrupulous activity in their past. Most are simply attention-grabbing statements by talking heads or their guests, neither of which is challenged.

I was shocked to hear this morning that President-Elect Donald Trump had invited Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski of Morning Joe to meet face-to-face with him at Mar-A-Lago last Friday. This was the first time the three had met in seven years, but to listen to Mika as she and Joe opened their show on Monday morning, this time-lapse was unusual. Listening to Mika and Joe, I sensed that they thought of themselves on the same plane as Trump and just as relevant.

The weaponization of the government has probably been an issue for decades, but it rose to the surface with the Obama administration and the IRS. How can we forget Lois Lerner trying in vain to convince anyone who would listen that she was innocent of targeting any Right-wing group she could with investigations and unreasonable fines to cripple their efforts to aid Republican candidates. Over 32,000 emails were recovered during the investigation, with over 400 groups targeted. The government paid $3.5 million to over 100 groups as a settlement for their actions. Lois Lerner resigned from her position with the IRS, leaving Washington with a fat wallet. She was given a $129,000 bonus, and reports say her full pension is $100,000 a year. It’s a nice payday for someone who should have done jail time.

Our government cannot do anything quickly or efficiently, thus the reason Musk and Ramaswamy will be taking a scalpel to D.C. unless the Left is under the gun of losing their majority. All of a sudden, Chuck Schumer has taken a dose of Political Viagra, and he is working with Trumpian stamina, approving as many liberal judges as possible before the Senate recesses. He did not hide his efforts, as he went to the well of the Senate to announce how many judges the Senate had approved in the last week. Forget vetting; bring them in like a cattle auction and order a vote. For the record, Schumer has closed on 12 Federal Judges in a week. Rats run the fastest when they are chased out the door.

For the last nine years, Trump supporters have had to be careful who they confided their allegiance to. We could not proudly flaunt Trump signs in our front yard while our neighbors had no issue planting Clinton, Biden, or Harris signs like dandelions. Buy a MAGA hat, but leave it in the hall closet because wearing it in public labeled you as a dangerous radical. Wear a Trump t-shirt with trepidation because it could ostracize you from family and friends. If a pollster ever asked you for your choice in the election, you lied and said undecided, which is why Trump always under-polled in almost every poll, rendering them useless. For us living in MAGA fear, 2024 is our coming out party. Our prolonged period of hiding our beliefs is over. It is time to finally proclaim with pride that we are 100% Trumpers, and our guy is going back to the White House. Trump is heading back to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue with a clear mandate to do what he promised in 2016. He is returning to drain the swamp, trim the fat, rid the WOKE, and make this country great and its citizens proud. Many people are walking now with heads held high, knowing a brighter future is approaching.

We would all be in a better place if we never knew the names of Laken Riley and Jose Ibarra. The parents of Laken Riley would not have a massive hole in their hearts and would have a daughter to wrap their arms around if we never knew the name of Jose Ibarra. Unfortunately, on February 22, while on her regular jog around the campus of the University of Georgia, the lives of Laken Riley and Jose Ibarra crossed paths, and Ibarra, acting like the animal he is, ran down Laken Riley. He assaulted her, raped her, and after 18 minutes of fighting for her life, Jose Ibarra snuffed the life out of his prey, Laken Riley. Calling Ibarra an animal is not disrespectful but factual. The heinous actions of this being are not human but purely animalistic. Somebody like Jose Ibarra has no moral compass, no conscience, and certainly not a human, feeling heart. On that morning, this animal was out on the hunt for sex and to kill, and Laken Riley was his unfortunate prey.
