RICK BROWN Yard Light Media The coming New Year brings a wealth of theater to central Nebraska, despite the discontinuation of University Theatre at Kearney and the closing of the Theatre Department at UNK.

The Arc of Buffalo County will present the free movie "Out of My Mind" at 6 p.m. Tuesday at The World Theatre at 2318 Central Ave.

“People need a reason to put down their phones and see the world around them,” the education director said. “Wild animals do that.”
