I like grocery shopping. It's calming. It's one of the oblos I look forward to. Put on some nice 80's music, walk up and down the aisles looking for new snacks, ignoring the outside world for a bit. It's peaceful.

I mean it doesn't get worse than this folks. Absolutely brutal. Listen it's one thing to just lose a bet on a buzzer beater. That's a brutal beat in itself. We've all been there with a meaningless bucket or a back door cover on a TD in a blowout, but this is a buzzer beater on steriods. They put more time on the clock as the teams were ready to shake hands. THE GAME WAS OVER !!! Literally over folks. Then they not only inbound the ball the guy hits a MIRACLE shot to hit the over, just an absolutely brutal brutal beat. It's early in the year but this is 100% the worst beat of the year thus far, and one of the worst I've seen in YEARS.

Beautiful. Everyone watching how horrifying the LA Fires are is obviously upset at the devastation. Just a horrible tragedy. Horrible. I wasn't expecting to see this but was thrilled with it as it was a little moment of happiness in a world of horrifying tragedy. This is why sports is such a beautiful thing. In horrible tragedy it's what binds us together and for a few seconds makes us forget about all the bad in the world and lets you cheer, or celebrate for just a few seconds. The most obvious moment of that in history is the Mike Piazza home run after 9/11.

I know it's the dark days of winter but with all the submissions that come through out account sometimes it takes a while before it hits the main page. What an absolute roller coaster of a video. Let's first declare that there is nothing worse, I mean nothing worse than skidding in the snow. You don't know when it's going to happen, but when it does, all that goes through your mind is how awful this is going to end. All you can picture is which car or how many cars you are going to crash into, if you'll hit a guard rail, a pole, an old lady, etc. Just absolute fear for 15 to 30 seconds and there's nothing at all you can do about it. The worst feeling in the world.

Talk about a bad one. Listen if you are backing Georgia at that point in the game you are fully prepared to get a bad beat. The most likely outcome is the kid hits both free throws. That sucks but you can live with it. It's brutal to take but hey that's what happens. Georgia committed the foul the kid hit two free throws... you lose. Move onto the next play.
