The levy as projected would generate $4.3 million per year for 10 years. MOORHEAD — Voters in the Moorhead school district went to the polls on Tuesday, Nov. 5, to weigh in on a capital projects levy referendum.

The incumbents held off three challengers for the board that serves Moorhead Area Public Schools.

Gandhi's decision to step down at the end of the school year was announced by the school district early on Thursday, Nov. 7.

Supt. Rupak Gandhi announced recently he will resign in June 2025 to start a business.

Superintendent Brandon Lunak said while the district will try to minimize classroom effects, education "will be impacted in some way, shape or form."

According to MSUM President Tim Downs, police said no foul play is suspected in the student's death.

The bond issue would go toward a long-range facilities plan approved by the school board in June.

The North Dakota Supreme Court ruled on the dispute between Fargo Public Schools and the Fargo Education Association.
