A warning was issued by the town of Wake Forest at 4:13 p.m. about a carjacking suspect last seen on foot in the area of Durham Road and Tyler Run Drive.

While snowfall amounts were trending down in North Carolina, they have spiked up: ‘heavy snow possible’ at the Outer Banks with a half foot of snow forecast Tuesday night.

The fire was reported at a home at 101 Brookridge Drive, just off Penny Road east of Apex and south of Cary, according to authorities.

A snowstorm is now forecast for the North Carolina Outer Banks with even the Wilmington area expected to see 5 inches of snow, officials said.

The victims were injured in both cases that were just 6 minutes apart and told police that males got out of a white SUV, attacked them and took items from them, Chapel Hill officers said.

Late Tuesday night, Fayetteville crews were still on the scene of one fire that was reported around 7:40 p.m. in the 4800 block of Ellsworth Drive.
