1. Clemson (Prev 1): After some accuracy issues doomed their first two offensive drives, Clemson got in gear and utterly dominated a helpless Wake Forest defense. Clemson’s own defense was on their heels early, but shutout the Deacons in the second half for a 49-14 win. The Tigers’ schedule seemed to be one of the tougher in the ACC before the season with NC State, FSU, and Louisville all on the docket. These teams have all disappointed and it now looks like dodging Miami, SMU, and Syracuse gives them one of the easier paths to 8-0.
