Quiet and good travel weather continues across the state of Texas. Today will be sunny and seasonable with a brief warm up on Wednesday.

A weak disturbance has brought clouds and rain back to North Texas. Expect widespread spotty showers to continue across the area Wednesday. The most likely time for rain in DFW will be during the morning and early afternoon. The showers will shift into East Texas by the late afternoon/ evening hours.

Patchy fog is possible through the morning hours. Areas west of DFW are under a dense fog advisory until 7 a.m. because the visibility could drop to 1/4 mile or less.

It is a cold start to Friday with temperatures in the low 30s and upper 20s. Afternoon temperatures will only climb to around 50. Clouds will increase through the day with a chance of some late afternoon or evening showers.

DFW Airport dropped to 32 degrees for the first official freeze of the season on Friday, December 6.

Today will be cloudy and cool with areas of patchy drizzle. A chance for showers arrives Friday night and into early Saturday morning.

Our Pacific cold front will stall to the south and east of DFW to only return as warm front into Sunday. Expect increasing clouds, a breezy southerly wind and chances for showers across North Texas.
