Friday night at ROH Final Battle, Lee Moriarty issued an open challenge for his Pure Championship, Shane Taylor by his side. As the crowd looked on in anticipation, a familiar tune played through the speakers of the iconic Hammerstein Ballroom, and the longest-reigning Pure Champion in ROH history, Nigel McGuinness, answered the challenge, entering the ring for his third match since returning after more than a decade on the shelf at AEW All In.

At ROH Final Battle, Brian Cage put his World TV title on the line in a Survival of the Fittest match, taking on AR Fox, Mark Davis, Willie Mack, Blake Christian, and Komander. Cage lost his title, and the man who won it could potentially carry it into the 2024 AEW Continental Classic.

Athena continues to make history as ROH Women's World Champion. On Friday night, she and Billie Starkz didn't just become the first women in ROH history to headline Hammerstein Ballroom — Athena also extended her already record-breaking reign, which now stands at 742 days as of this writing.

The 12/21/24 episode of "Christmas Collision" will have four tournament matches with two in each league. The Gold league matches could break a tie.

New year, new partnership. Topps announced on social media that they have reunited for a long-term partnership with WWE. The image features current Superstars such as Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes and one half of the Women's Tag Team Champions, Bianca Belair. Also featured are Undertaker, Trish Stratus, and Stone Cold Steve Austin. This suggests that the new trading cards will include Superstars from the past and present.

The new year is time for resolutions. The stars of TNA Wrestling are no different and took to social media to say what they're hopeful for in 2025.

#DIY were able to retain their WWE tag team titles when their match against Motor City Machine Guns ended in a no contest on "WWE SmackDown." Earlier in the night, DIY told Pretty Deadly that they needed to retain their titles; Pretty Deadly also had an altercation with Legado Del Fantasma over the former telling the Street Profits that Los Garzas attacked them when that was not the case.

Monday's debut episode of "WWE Raw" on Netflix brought back Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and celebrities such as Macaulay Culkin, Seth Green, Wale, Danielle Fishel, and Will Friedle. It also saw the return of John Cena, entering his "Farewell Era" ahead of his in-ring retirement.

Using Hulk Hogan for "WWE Raw's" Netflix debut may have been a miscalculation, since as soon Hogan walked out, he was greeted by loud boos from the LA crowd.
