HUDCO is in talks with various infrastructure bodies of the Maharashtra government for funding infrastructure and road projects worth ₹30-40,000 crore.

The Maharashtra Housing department has extended the instalment facility for payment of land premium for Slum Rehabilitation Authority projects by three years. Private developers will be allowed to pay the premium cost in three instalments, with the facility now extended until September 30, 2025. The decision aims to address housing challenges faced by economically disadvantaged sections of society and support affordable housing and inclusive urban development. Approximately 150-200 schemes currently in progress and over 400 existing schemes will benefit from the extension.

Properties belonging to Amit and Vicky Wadhwani, who are being investigated for cheating, will be auctioned by the Mumbai District Central Co-operative Bank for recovery dues of ₹84.42 crore. The properties include commercial units and flats, with the auction scheduled for February 22.

Two employees of Vetic pet clinic in Thane have been booked under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act after a video of one of them punching a dog went viral. The dog has been moved to a dog boarding centre for recovery. The clinic has closed and attempts to contact Vetic have been unsuccessful.

Adani Realty outbid L&T to grab the 24-acre Bandra Reclamation Redevelopment.

Adani Realty has emerged as the highest bidder for the redevelopment of a 24-acre plot in Mumbai, beating Larsen & Toubro. Adani offered a revenue share of 22.7%, compared to L&T's 18%. The final decision will be made by the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) board next week. The land parcel has a potential development area of 45 lakh square feet and is valued at around INR30,000 crore ($4.1bn). Adani won a mandate in November 2022 to redevelop Dharavi, Asia's largest slum cluster, with a bid of INR5,069 crore.

On June 1, 2023, Suhana purchased 1.5-acre agricultural land along with 2,218 sq ft of structures on the plot for 12.91 crore. The land was purchased from three sisters Anjali, Rekha and Priya Khot, who inherited the land from their parents.
