At last Wednesday's work session Elma Town Engineer James Wyzykiewicz asked council members to consider establishing a maintenance plan for a recently formed drainage district on Seneca Street. Council Member Daryl Nolan was absent from this meeting. The drainage district runs between 5970 and 6050 Seneca Street, all properties owned by Russell Tucker of Creative Land Development. The drainage district was established earlier this year, allowing the town access to the property to complete any emergency drainage work with the ability to charge Tucker for any work completed.
