Edmonton Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch said defenseman Darnell Nurse is expected to miss 5-10 days as he recovers from a hit to the head from Toronto Maple Leafs enforcer Ryan Reaves, according to TSN's Kenzie Lalonde."Obviously, there was a big scare there," Knoblauch said. "Since then, he's progressed really well, he's doing as good as he can."Nurse was injured in the second period of Saturday's loss. He left the contest following the collision, and Reaves earned a five-game suspension for an illegal check to the head.The Oilers have four games from Monday until Saturday. They're then off until Nov. 29.Nurse has notched nine points in 18 games this season and averaged over 20 minutes per contest. He's in the third campaign of an eight-year contract that pays him $9.25 million annually.
