A 43-year-old Moose Jaw man was sentenced to 15 months in prison in Moose Jaw Provincial Court recently, after pleading guilty to numerous drug and weapon offences.

Elaine Marie Wallace, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, joined her husband Jack on Tuesday, October 15th, 2024. The family would like to thank the staff at Chateau St. Michael’s for their empathy and compassion. A Private Family Gathering will take place at a later date to honour Elaine.

The City of Moose Jaw’s Community Clean Up has been rescheduled to take place this Saturday. The original clean up day was scheduled to take place on Oct. 5, but was postponed due to extremely high wind speeds. The City of Moose Jaw’s Community Clean Up Committee is encouraging residents to come together to pick up garbage and tidy up their respective neighbourhoods on Saturday. This is an informal event and residents and groups are asked to clean up at their own convenience, on the Saturday or another day and time that works best for them. Garbage bags and gloves will be supplied by the city by request before Saturday.
