A Panamanian cargo ship carrying 300,000 gallons of fuel is still anchored near Unalaska, not expected to depart until at least Monday morning, as poor weather conditions persist.

After several days of waiting out a storm near Unalaska, the Pan Viva is on the move and headed to its destination port in Washington State. The U.S. Coast Guard order which kept the vessel in place for most of Monday has been lifted.

Four crew members evacuated from the Pan Viva, now heading to Washington, are back aboard after it lost its port anchor Saturday.

A weak La Niña system is predicted this winter, meaning meteorologists can't forecast whether the Aleutian Islands will experience higher or lower than normal temperatures and precipitation this season.

Adyson Scott, a sophomore at Unalaska City High School, capped off her record-breaking season on Friday with 12th-place finish at the state swimming championships. She swam a personal best of 1:12.6 in the 100-yard breaststroke, a new school record.
