India's data centre sector is set for significant growth, driven by a surge in data, supportive government policies, and advancements in sustainability and Artificial Intelligence (AI). This transformation is already underway, positioning the sector for an inflection point, according to a whitepaper published by TechCircle research unit.

Indian IT services and consulting firm Tech Mahindra reported a revenue growth of 1.4% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹13,286 crore but a dip of 0.2% compared to the previous quarter. Bengaluru-based AI firm KOGO partnered with digital mapping company MapMyIndia to launch India's ‘first' universal voice assistant for the automotive industry. KOGO's CEO, Raj K. Gopalakrishnan told TechCircle that the Universal Voice Assistant is an on-premises, edge-computing solution that integrates KOGO's agentic AI framework with MapMyIndia's geo-intelligence technology.
