BELLA VISTA, Ark. -- In an effort to try and rejuvenate the natural wildlife and pollinators in this area, an offshoot group of the Bella Vista Garden Club has began a new mission.

Thanks to a proclamation by Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders presented during Thursday's Arkansas Game and Fish Commission meeting, June 12-14 is officially Free Fishing Weekend in Arkansas. Anyone may fish in Arkansas without a fishing license or trout stamp from noon, Friday, June 12, through midnight Sunday night, June 14.

Jeff Hendren was the lone incumbent vying for his seat on the Bella Vista Property Owners Association's Board of Directors. Hendren garnered the most votes in the May 19 election, reestablishing his seat, along with newcomers Kim Carlson and Dave Armstrong.

BELLA VISTA -- Jeff Hendren will keep his seat on the Bella Vista Property Owners Association Board of Directors and be joined by two newcomers -- Kim Carlson and Dave Armstrong.
