Trois-Rivieres, PQ — After the March 15 deadline (plus a week for the mail), a total of 21 4-year-old pacers have been nominated to compete in the C$200,000 Prix d’Ete Grand Circuit event at the Hippodrome 3R in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec.
With a first-over move in the backstretch, New Zealand-bred Hemsworth N ( Sweet Lou ) was able to grind out a 10-1 triumph in upsetting the $35,000 Invitational Pace Monday (April 29) at Yonkers Raceway.
Last year’s Quebec-bred champion filly trotter, Sensi Amnesia ( Muscle Mass ), started off the 2024 stakes season at the Hippodrome 3R (H3R) in Trois-Rivieres in fine fashion, winning in a romp in the opening round of the Breeders Trophy Series Friday (July 12).
A full field of eight four-year-old harness racing pacers will compete Sunday, August 18 at the Hippodrome 3R (H3R) in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec in the return of the Prix d’Ete Grand Circuit race with a purse of C$200,000.
