Earlier this week, Patrick Bailey won his first Gold Glove, which almost certainly will not be his last. Since making his MLB debut in 2023, he has quickly established himself as one of the very best receivers in the game. This season he was the best receiver in the game, and in fact one of the most valuable defensive players in the league regardless of position.

Week 10 was a 3-4 performance for the dungeon, and sadly Florida State could not in fact pull off something very funny. Although, the depth of FSU’s awfulness is itself extremely amusing.

I was thinking recently about how NC State announced that it is about to jack up the price to park your car by quite a substantial amount to walk over and watch the NC State football team kick some field goals. I’m not a marketing guy, but I think we’ve got some synergy we can work with on this.

NC State was not up to the challenge of South Carolina on Sunday afternoon—and while you could replace [NC State] with virtually anyone, that’s not particularly helpful. The entire point is the chase against South Carolina’s standard, after all.

Kevin Keatts has a lot to sort through with his lineups and is still missing an important piece in Mike James, who has yet to play this season and probably won’t before December. Keatts said last night that James is about two-and-a-half or three weeks away from being ready.

I appreciate a tomato can that comes in and at least does something interesting, and Kent State was up to the challenge tonight. The Golden Flashes shot 8-20 from three in the first half, and 1-11 from two. They ended up finishing the game with a lower field goal percentage (26.3) than three-point percentage (35.7), which you don’t see a whole lot.
