Clipper Senior Reporter The Duxbury Beach seawall project has come in under bid by $5 million and town officials are now considering asking voters to use that amount to pay for the DPW headquarters project, which cannot be built with the money allotted, except by slashing the building’s size.

Clipper Senior Reporter The engineer working on plans to combat sea level rise in Snug Harbor presented an update to the Selectboard this week that outlined three multi-million-dollar projects, including a redesigned boat ramp and elevated public parking lot, a new Harbormaster’s headquarters and a higher seawall for the Duxbury Bay Maritime School.

Starting on Nov. 1, charging electric vehicles at the two public charging stations in Duxbury will no longer be free, but will cost 47 cents per kWh and $8 per hour for the time a car is still plugged in past its charging time.
