City Council members directed staff to find out the cost of an engineering and traffic study to determine if the two Oak Street intersections might warrant permanent roundabouts.

“We’re honored to be recognized for the hard work that we try to do to provide food to feed the world,” Daniel Caughey said.

'I think we need to do better as a community to bring everyone together and understand each other to make it a better place,' Caitlin Hamilton said.

Superintendent Chip Rankin told School Board members he has plans to meet with a donor who wants to commit a significant amount of money to the district and put their name on a building.

Superintendent Chip Rankin said change could help strengthen communication while keeping meetings focused on current district business.

The City Council unanimously approved a policy on Aug. 3 that deals with the notification of lessees of downtown events, allowable vehicle types, subletting spaces and cancellation of lease.

“My goal is to strengthen the confidence in this team and to keep improving how we can protect our students and families from these harmful behaviors,” Superintendent Chip Rankin said.
