CANTON — On Oct.15, students from Canton Central High School's Reality Check program took a stand against tobacco use. To commemorate “Seen Enough Tobacco Day,” a day dedicated to raising awareness about the dangers of smoking, the students created a unique display outside of their cafeteria. The display featured post-it notes on which students wrote their reasons for wanting to be smoke-free. These messages were then arranged to form a powerful statement against tobacco. Additionally, students had the opportunity to participate in a tobacco trivia game and win prizes. Reality Check Youth who helped organize the event included Ryan Faunce, Mat Bradish-Hayes, Emma Bradish-Hayes, Tegan Cortright, Aurora Casserly, and Leena Frank.
