It's been quite windy today and these winds will continue through Wednesday, though they will back off slightly through the overnight hours tonight. A Wind Advisory remains in effect for our North Iowa counties through 10 pm tonight for gusts up to 45 mph. Elsewhere, in southeast Minnesota, a few isolated gusts of 40 mph are still possible.

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KIMT) - The National Weather Service office in La Crosse has announced an outage of the Rochester weather radio transmitter due to a hardware or communication issue.

Weather radio service has been restored, but audio quality is currently degraded.

A rainy and windy start to the work week is likely as changes begin to arrive.
