The Byrd Theatre Foundation announced it has received a donation of $315,000 from Martin Davenport, Chairman of The Foundation’s Board of Directors. Davenport has been crucial to helping the Theatre thrive for over ten years.

The cafe had generally been operating through a pickup window since the COVID pandemic in 2020. Window service will remain from 7:00 AM until 1:00 PM, and the cafe will be open daily from 7:00 AM until 3:00 PM.

Maymont is expanding its most anticipated event of the year, Garden Glow presented by Kroger, to 22 fun-filled nights this fall, from October 16 – November 10.

Moving Day Richmond VA will include a Kid's Zone, informational exhibits and a PD Experience where people who don't have Parkinson's can learn what it's like to contend with some of the affliction's symptoms. The event draws people of all ages and walks of life.

B-Side Bakehouse currently operates out of Hatch Kitchen and supplies baked goods daily to Paix Coffee. The bakery also serves customers at the RVA Big Market in Bryan Park and Dorey Park Farmers Market.

BHMVA is one of only four places in the U.S. included on this inaugural list from UNESCO, a specialized United Nations agency that stands for United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.

Border Cantos | Sonic Border, a traveling exhibition organized by the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, brings together the sights and the sounds of the Mexican-American border. It will be on view at the Harnett Museum of Art (453 Westhampton Way) at the University of Richmond through Dec. 17.
