FOXBORO — King Philip Regional High struck for four unanswered goals in the third period to pull away for a 6-2 win in boys hockey over Attleboro High Wednesday at Foxboro Sports Center.

BOSTON — The indoor track and field teams for North Attleboro High, Foxboro High, Mansfield High, King Philip Regional High and Attleboro High squared off in the third Hockomock League Meet of the season at The Track at New Balance on Thursday.

FOXBORO -- Two goals proved to be enough Friday night for the King Philip Regional High girls hockey as the Warriors took a 2-1 win over previously undefeated Medfield High at Foxoboro Sports Center.

The area high school football season culminated with a busy final two days in the first week of December, with no fewer than four teams making Super Bowl appearances at Gillette Stadium.

High-scoring offenses and lockdown defenders dominated area high school field hockey this past season, with King Philip Regional High excelling at both ends of the field.

NORTH ATTLEBORO — Free throws and a late push in the fourth quarter was the difference on Tuesday night as the North Attleboro High girls basketball team defeated Attleboro High 65-55.

NORTH ATTLEBORO — It came down to the final two matches Wednesday night, and the North Attleboro High wrestling team took both by pins to clinch a 43-30 win over Foxboro High at home.

While there were no area deep runs in the MIAA high school volleyball state tournament this fall, there was still no shortage of stellar play across several teams throughout the season.
