The split screen of the debate was priceless: Trump spewing nonsense, a perpetual scowl on his face, and Harris gazing at him in wonder and amusement as he set a match to his candidacy.

Do Americans really want to elect a presidential candidate who is this unaware, this obtuse, and this… stupid?

This year, we are having a rerun of 2020; however, in the current version, MAGA loyalists and a number of fake electors from Trump's previous attempt to subvert democracy are salting the earth on his behalf.

I firmly believe that women should be running the show, globally.

Are there parts of this fairytale that remind you of any American politician in particular?

Trump is a Trojan Horse for racists, homophobes, xenophobes, misogynists, and antisemites. He is a pay-to-play candidate so empty on the inside that he has plenty of room to carry their water.

But it is time for the 75 percent of us with average-to-above-average intelligence to have a conversation, because it is going to be up to us to rescue America from the jaws of a looming theocratic dictatorship.

I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, folks, but Donald Trump doesn’t even want to shake your hands, let alone invite you to Mar-a-Lago for a Diet Coke and a Big Mac.

Even at this early stage Trump is previewing the character and tone of his triumphant return to the presidency. He has already begun to select some of the most inexperienced whackadoodles in America to assist in his ongoing attempt to turn America into a Trump dictatorship.
