A small but dedicated group reported to the concession stand on Saturday, September 7. Our professional helpers from Graber Construction were on site. Their expertise ensures that our work is square, plumb and sound. The hope is that the interior stud walls will be completed and the electrician will be able to come and wire everything. It would really be great to have lights inside to help as work continues. After wiring, insulation can be added and dry wall installed.
There are 14 sites on this year's Depot Tour that opens several railway depots across southeast Iowa. Keokuk's Union Depot and two depots in Fort Madison as well as other Lee County sites are included.
