I've seen some e-bikes makers with unusual names, but when I got an email offering to review e-bikes from a company called “Puckipuppy,” I figured someone was pulling my leg.
While e-bike and small electric motorcycle regulations are well implemented in the EU and elsewhere, in the U.S., it's still the Wild West for the
Huffy, a brand once dismissed by some but historically durable and even Olympic-raced, has successfully reinvented itself in the e-bike market. After facing bankruptcy in 2004, Huffy now operates under Covation Holdings, offering a range of affordable electric bicycles. The new Huffy Vienna step-through e-bike, priced at just $599, delivers impressive performance, mirroring specifications of older, more expensive models. It features a 350-watt motor, Shimano gears, and disc brakes, providing a smooth, quiet, and comfortable ride.
